In order to provide the quality service that Internet Technologies Namibia prides itself in, we require all of our customers agree to our Acceptable Use Policy, in addition to our terms of service agreement. You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy upon signing up for an account or upon payment, whichever comes first. Internet Technologies Namibia provides web site hosting, web site design, domain name registration, reseller services, marketing solutions and development tools. Internet Technologies Namibia has certain legal and ethical responsibilities consisting with the use of its server, software, web sites, and equipment involved in these services. ITN's general policy is to act as a provider of internet presence. ITN has specific ethical concerns regarding the use of its computers detailed below. ITN reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by ITN when we decide that the account has been inappropriately used. Internet Technologies Namibia recognizes that the internet is very powerful. It is expected that our customers use our services and the internet with respect, courtesy, and responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other Internet users. As a service provider to the Internet community, ITN's Acceptable Use Policy is designed to produce a better environment for all users of the Internet community. Common sense is the best guide as to what is considered acceptable use. Internet Technologies Namibia offers this policy with the following rules:

Internet Technologies Namibia greatly condones any form of network abuse including but not limited to activities such as using a nonexistent return e-mail address on a commercial solicitation, spamming (sending unsolicited advertising to numerous e-mail addresses or newsgroups and/or generating a significantly higher volume of outgoing email than a normal user), trolling (posting outrageous messages in newsgroups to generate numerous responses), mail-bombing (sending multiple messages without significant new content to the same user), subscribing someone else to a mailing list without that person's permission, cross-posting articles to an excessive number of newsgroups, or attempting without authorization to enter into a secured computer system. Internet Technologies Namibia advises against tortuous conduct including but not limited to posting of defamatory, scandalous, or private information about a person without their consent, intentionally inflicting emotional distress, or violating trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights. Internet Technologies Namibia condones the misuse of system resources including but not limited to employing posts or programs which consume excessive CPU time or storage space. Any violation of the acceptable use policy is subject to the terms found in our terms of service agreement. Internet Technologies Namibia reserves the right to determine what is "acceptable use" and what is not. Internet Technologies Namibia reserves the rights to do what is deemed appropriate by Internet Technologies Namibia if there is violation of the acceptable use policy.
Reporting Abuse All former Interact Digital Technologies customers, sub-networks, resellers and dedicated servers of ITN must adhere to the above policies. Failure to follow any term or condition will be grounds for immediate account deactivation. We reserve the right to determine and/or modify our Acceptable Use Policy at any time. |
